Thin Lizzy - Chinatown
I’ve been jamming along to this song since the first time I heard it, probably about 10 years ago. It’s a totally fun riff to play and the blistering lead guitars are par for the course with Thin Lizzy. Few bands are as humbling to a guitarist as this one (in other words: I can’t keep up). The drum part has that awesome rock swing feel that makes it easy to find a groove (not that I’m all that good at playing it). Vocally I feel very comfortable singing their songs. Lynott’s range is perfectly suited for me (not that I’m all that good at singing his songs).
Overall I’m actually quite pleased with how this one turned out. Go me!
